Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Penang) is seeking an entry-level software engineer to design, develop, and deploy factory and planning applications that optimize day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with project managers, leads, and global teams to deliver scalable solutions across the software stack.

You will help maintain dev/test environments, explore new technologies, and apply strong engineering principles to improve performance and usability in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in software development, demonstrated through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training, OR a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with no prior professional experience.
• Proficiency in software development languages such as C#, Python, or equivalent, and SQL programming (MS or Oracle).
• Knowledge of design patterns and frameworks (e.g., MVVM WPF, ASP.Net MVC, MVP).
• Demonstrated ability to operate across software development tiers and use open-source languages such as JavaScript or others.
