BP International Limited is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and support digital products for trading, shipping, and business operations. You will join a multidisciplinary agile team building web, mobile, cloud, and AI-enabled solutions.

The role emphasizes modern tech like C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, Flutter, AWS, SQL Server, REST APIs, and AI-assisted development. Collaboration with business users and stakeholders is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with languages/frameworks: C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, Flutter, JavaScript or similar technologies.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise systems.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server.
• Understanding of SDLC practices, source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps.

• Investigate production issues and improve reliability and performance.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members to foster innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain business-critical applications and services across web, mobile, API, and cloud platforms.
• Partner directly with business users and stakeholders to understand operational processes, gather requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
• Build modern software solutions using technologies such as C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, Flutter, AWS, SQL Server, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures.

Required Experience & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks such as C#, .NET, React, TypeScript, Flutter, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with enterprise systems and services.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development and deployment practices, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server and familiarity with modern data management practices.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle practices, including source control, automated testing, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex technical and business challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work directly with business users and translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions.
• Demonstrated aptitude for building trusted relationships with business stakeholders and collaborating effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience working in agile product teams and contributing to iterative delivery.
• Strong aptitude for effectively utilizing AI-powered tools, generative AI platforms, and prompt-based workflows to support software development, problem solving, and business process automation.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, intelligent automation, or generative AI technologies would be advantageous.
