Job summary

Heitech Padu Berhad is seeking an experienced Software Developer (Java) to design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications with a focus on performance, scalability, security, and reliability. The role requires strong Java technologies, system integration, and best practices.

The successful candidate will design Java-based applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating with PMs, analysts, testers, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework and Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices architectures.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Participate in system architecture design, technical reviews, and solution planning.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and production issues.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, System Analysts, Tester teams, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and deployment guides.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to the development team.
