A digital marketing agency in Malacca is seeking a creative individual to develop and manage social media content. You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives and visuals, executing marketing campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics. The ideal candidate should have a background in marketing, exceptional copywriting skills, and proficiency in graphic design. This role offers a dynamic environment where creativity is valued and collaboration is essential.
Develop, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across all social media platforms.
Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and design across all social media channels.
Create visually appealing graphics, images, and videos for social media posts in line with brand guidelines.
Work with internal and external teams to produce high-quality content.
Provide regular reports on social media activities, including insights and recommendations for improvement.
Plan, guide and mentor Social Media marketing campaigns, ideas, and funnels.
Craft scroll-stopping content and campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, XHS, TikTok, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Build and implement strategies to increase social presence for existing and new social accounts.
Plan and execute bold, creative campaigns and events that leave a lasting impression.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
Track, analyze, and transform social media metrics into winning strategies and insights.
Brainstorm and idea new creative growth strategies based on past learnings, and research on case studies.
Keep your finger on the pulse of social trends, platform updates, and viral moments to keep clients ahead of the game.
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
Work hand-in-hand with the marketing team to weave social magic into every brand story.
Complete additional office duties as directed.
Experience with e-commerce would be an advantage.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia both verbal and written.
Diploma orBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
Exceptional copywriting and visual content skills, with a knack for crafting on-brand, compelling stories.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, XHS, Facebook, TikTok etc) .
Proven experience in creating social media content for businesses
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic knowledge of SEO and how it integrates with social media strategies
Ability to analyze social media metrics and create reports (using tools like Google Analytics, social platform analytics, etc.).
Creativity and attention to detail in creating compelling posts and campaigns.
Proficiency in graphic design tools
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
Good team player with collaborative skills.
High level of attention to detail, ensuring all visual content is polished and brand-compliant.
Strong creative skills with a keen eye for visual storytelling and design aesthetics.
