Job summary

A leading food company in Malaysia is seeking a Marketing Executive responsible for managing social media presence and community engagement focused on instant noodles. You will execute digital marketing activities, create engaging content, maintain strong relationships with influencers, and support marketing campaigns. Ideal candidates should have a degree in Marketing or related fields, with 1–2 years of digital marketing experience. Proficiency in English, and knowledge of Mandarin or Malay are a plus. This is a great opportunity for creative individuals who are organised and able to multitask.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related fields.
  • 1–2 years of experience in social media/digital marketing (FMCG preferred).
  • Excellent English writing skills; ability to write in Mandarin/Malay is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of digital behaviour, consumer trends, and platform culture.
  • Organised, adaptable, and able to multitask.
  • Team player with initiative and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Execute social media and digital marketing activities according to campaign goals and KPIs.
  • Maintain brand voice, identity, and content consistency across all channels.
  • Write clear, engaging captions, announcements, and product-related content.
  • Assist in developing visual assets, simple edits, and digital materials for campaigns.
  • Collaborate in brainstorming and planning sessions with the marketing team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with influencers, partners, and online communities.
  • Support PR-related digital communications whenever needed.
  • Guide interns or junior team members when assigned.
  • Support outbound marketing activities such as collaborations, sampling programs, and influencer outreach.
  • Use scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok scheduling, etc.) to publish content efficiently.

About the Role

We are looking for a sharp, energetic, and creative Marketing Executive who will take ownership of our social media presence and community engagement. This role is dedicated to digital content, brand voice, and online communications for Vit’s instant noodles across Malaysia and global export audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Social Media Management
    • Execute social media and digital marketing activities according to campaign goals and KPIs.
    • Maintain brand voice, identity, and content consistency across all channels.
  • Content Creation & Communications
    • Write clear, engaging captions, announcements, and product-related content.
    • Assist in developing visual assets, simple edits, and digital materials for campaigns.
    • Collaborate in brainstorming and planning sessions with the marketing team.
  • Coordination & Engagement
    • Maintain strong relationships with influencers, partners, and online communities.
    • Support PR-related digital communications whenever needed.
    • Guide interns or junior team members when assigned.
  • Campaign & Marketing Support
