Job summary

A creative media company in Nilai is looking for a creative executor to produce emotionally resonant video content for social media. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in the marketing or content field and be proficient in video editing tools like Capcut and Premiere. We're looking for a creative executor who can think like a marketer. Your primary role is to translate brand vision into emotionally resonant, high-performing video content for social media.

Areas of Responsibility
1. Content Creation & Editing (70%)
  • Identifying trending trends that are relevant to platform.
  • Curating content calendar for our brands (ladybossfoodie / auntie chia's)
  • Crafting video script, strategy and editing framework based on Quarter's focus.
  • Create POV-style food content and lifestyle storytelling.
  • Repurpose footage for multiple platforms with contextual tweaks
  • Ensure tone consistency: warmth, authenticity, "comfort after work" brand feel.
2. Marketing Storytelling (20%)
  • Brainstorm weekly ideas aligned with campaigns (e.g. CNY, promotions, founder stories etc)
  • Draft short video scripts and hooks (why people should care).
  • Analyse and provide constructive feedback on content angle and insights.
  • Work closely with founder for story-based projects.
3. Collaboration & Coordination (10%)
  • Work with graphic designer on text overlays / thumbnails
  • Liaising & managing with outsourced editor/content creator for content creation.
  • Organize content folders, shot lists and publishing schedules with e-comm exec.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in marketing/content field
  • Must have experienced in video editing.
  • Must have experience in Capcut / Premiere / DaVinci.
  • Understand pacing, transitions, audio timing and most importantly, storytelling rhythm.
  • Must know Chinese (our main customer is Chinese, non-halal)
