Job description

We are looking for an experienced SMT Production Supervisor.

Directly supervise, mentor, and motivate a team of production operators and technicians.

Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, attendance, and overtime allocation.

Production Management & Execution

Execute the daily production schedule to meet customer delivery commitments and output targets.

Monitor production lines in real-time, making adjustments to manpower, materials, and machinery to maintain flow and efficiency.

Utilize Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to organize the workspace and eliminate waste.

Ensure all equipment is operational and coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventative maintenance.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all products are built to specification and meet established quality standards.

Monitor quality metrics (e.g., First Pass Yield, Defect Rates) and implement corrective actions to address root causes of defects.

Work closely with the Quality department to resolve non-conformances and implement robust solutions.

Performance & Continuous Improvement

Track, analyze, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen events) to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve productivity.

Manage inventory levels of raw materials and work-in-progress (WIP) within the production cell.
