Job summary

DOMINANT PRO VENTURES SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a Site Supervisor to oversee construction activities, coordinate trades, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery on site.

You will support the Project Manager, monitor progress, review drawings, manage site logistics and liaise with clients, consultants and authorities to maintain project timelines and compliance. This role requires proactive on-site leadership and meticulous record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Experience in site supervision and coordinating multiple trades on construction sites.
• Ability to monitor progress, quality, safety and costs to meet project targets.
• Familiarity with construction drawings and setting out processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand safety, schedule, cost and quality requirements and support Project Manager to achieve them on site.
• Ensure site supervision and coordination of various trades for all works.
• Prepare action plans based on site progress for subordinates and subcontractors.
• Monitor daily construction activities in line with the work program.
• Enforce technical, quality and occupational health and safety standards.
• Control material, manpower and machinery usage to avoid wastage.
• Record material deliveries and usage by subcontractors; inspect material quality.
• Report nonconformances for corrective actions to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Carry out site surveys such as level surveys and setting out.
• Prepare Daily Site Reports and assist with Progress Reports.
• Review construction drawings for discrepancies and issue latest versions.
• Prepare various work method statements when required.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities for ongoing relationships.
• Ensure COVID-19 SOP compliance on site as required by authorities.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by a superior.
