Job summary

A construction firm in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Site Supervisor/Project Manager to oversee construction activities. The role involves conducting site inspections, managing personnel, and ensuring compliance with specifications. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, particularly in piling, and the ability to independently manage construction operations. Working hours are from 8 am to 7 pm, Monday to Saturday.

Job description

Site Supervisor / Project Manager (Piling)

To assist the site manager in managing construction personnel.

• Conduct site inspections to ensure work is done according to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure timely completion of the project, control costs, and report to consultants on site matters.
• Attend site meetings and highlight any defects in construction work.
• Ensure procedures and materials comply with contract plan, quality and specifications.
• Supervise all construction works at site independently.
• Attend fortnightly site meetings.
• Coordinate and monitor construction works as per contract specifications and standards to ensure procedures are followed and materials used conform to specification and standards.
• Supervise construction works and ensure that all works carried out are in accordance with the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.

Working hours for this position: 8am to 7pm (Mon-Sat).

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a diploma or advanced/higher/graduate diploma in engineering (civil) or equivalent.
• Preferably with piling-related field (Minimum 1 year experience).
• Be able to work independently.
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field; preferably with piling-related field (Minimum 5 years experience).
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering – Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
• Be able to work independently.
