Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operation and closely monitor site worker performance.
- Set “site” goals, oversee, and ensure on-time project delivery toward completion and optimize cost, i.e. to drive spending and cost reduction.
- Keep accurate records of employee attendance (times card) and ensure on time submission to the management approval for wages payment.
- Record and report daily sales activities including work in progress, i.e. material and manpower consumption reports.
- Adhere to site Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and site safety policies by the company.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the site systems and equipment.
- Handle emergencies incident appropriately according to established procedure; report to management immediately, prepare and file accident reports to respective authority immediately when deem necessary.
- Ensure compliances with company or government regulation to avoid job disruption at site.
- Work closely and communicate with vendors or partners, main contractors, subcontractors, and others at site to avoid site complication.
- Manage and lead the worker at site, to coordinate work on site in appropriate sequence, controlling time and quality.
- Manage and plan daily and weekly activities to ensure usage of manpower, materials, equipment, and machine.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Civil Engineering/ Building or equivalent.
- At least 2 – 3 years’ experience in civil and building works.
- Possess own transportation and willing to travel within short period and able to outstation.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin/Cantonese to effectively communicate with Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients.
- Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 6 working days per week for this position.
