Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities, workforce and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are carried out according to drawings, specifications and method statements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and ensure workers wear PPE.
• Ensure construction works meet quality requirements and standards.
• Report unsafe practices, defects and delays to management.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress reports and submit to Project Manager and Project Secretary.
• Highlight site constraints, material shortage or manpower issues.
• Check and monitor materials delivered to site against specifications.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and usage of materials.
• Manage tools, equipment and resources efficiently.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and briefings with site workers.
• Liaise with consultants, clients and authorities when required.
• Provide clear instructions to workers and subcontractors.
