Job description

The Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating on-site installation of HDPE pipe and double-wall corrugated pipe systems. This role ensures that all pipe installation, jointing, and fusion activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Butt Fusion and Electrofusion Works: Supervise and verify proper execution of butt fusion and electrofusion welding in accordance with approved procedures and manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate Trenching, Bedding, Alignment, and Backfilling Activities: Monitor trenching, bedding, alignment, jointing, and backfilling operations to ensure compliance with project drawings and specifications.
• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work meets the required quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all site activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Team Management: Lead and manage a team of workers, providing guidance and feedback as necessary.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is carried out according to the project timeline.

Required Skills

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, particularly with reinforced concrete works, excavation, and backfilling of earth.
