Job summary

MVC Resources is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to oversee interior fit-out and construction works in Kuala Lumpur. You will ensure works align with drawings, specs, and project requirements while coordinating with the project team on site activities.

You will read drawings, supervise materials and manpower, attend meetings with clients and consultants, report progress, and manage defects to ensure timely completion. Travel to project sites and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience in interior design, renovation, construction or fit-out projects.
• Ability to work independently and manage site activities under pressure.
• Willingness to travel to project sites and possess own transport.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure work follows drawings, specs and requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Interior Designer, Quantity Surveyor and other parties on site matters.
• Ensure materials, equipment and manpower are arranged and available to support site operations.
• Verify site measurements and ensure works are executed according to drawings and dimensions.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and photographic records for Management.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors as required.
• Monitor defects and rectification works to ensure timely completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Job description

• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Reporting to Project Manager / Head Of Project Management Coordinate with the Project Manager, Interior Designer, Quantity Surveyor and other relevant parties on site matters.
• Ensure materials, equipment and manpower are properly arranged and available to support site operations.
• Verify site measurements and ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings and dimensions.
• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates and photographic records for Management's reference.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors when required.
• Monitor defects and rectification works to ensure timely completion.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management from time to time.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM, Diploma or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of working experience in interior design, renovation, construction or fit-out projects.
• Good knowledge of interior renovation, fit-out works, construction methods and site coordination.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings, technical drawings and specifications.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently, manage site activities and work under pressure.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel to project sites.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Project will be an advantage
