Job description
In This Role You Will
  • Coordinate, review, and verify the issuance of documents from contractors and consultants, including project timelines, method statements, drawings, material submissions, and operation manuals.
  • Supervise, monitor, and review contractor claims, project progress, and daily site operations to ensure compliance with quality, scope, and time standards.
  • Provide daily operational reports, organize work schedules, conduct regular inspections, and assist in planning work activities.
  • Conduct and verify project inspections, testing, commissioning, and handover procedures with all related parties.
  • Perform various tasks related to the project management department as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities during the initial project development phase by reviewing contract documents, scope of work, and project implementation programs.
  • Manage daily site operations, assign tasks to workers, monitor progress against project schedules, ensure compliance with safety and health practices, and report regularly to superiors.
  • Ensure quality control by inspecting completed work and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors on all project matters, including documentation, material submission and delivery, inspection of completed works, final testing and commissioning, handover exercises, and tracking and resolving any remaining defects until project completion.

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
  • Professional qualification in engineering preferred.
  • Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or similar.
  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical/electrical engineering projects, construction, or utilities (water, power, telco, civil).
