About the role

Asas Permatang Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Site Safety Supervisor to join our team on a contract basis in Dengkil, Selangor. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of health, safety and environment compliance across our construction projects.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards
• Implementing and monitoring safety protocols and procedures to protect the wellbeing of workers and visitors
• Providing on-site safety training and toolbox talks to educate the workforce on best practices
• Investigating incidents and near-misses, and reporting findings to senior management
• Ensuring full compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
• Maintaining detailed records and documentation related to site safety activities
• Collaborating with project teams to embed a strong safety culture across the organisation

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Site Safety Supervisor in the construction industry
• Thorough knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to the construction sector
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage workers at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address safety issues promptly
• Proficient in using safety monitoring and reporting software
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Relevant safety certifications, such as SSS registered with DOSH
