Job summary

Certifications like Green book and CEPSWAM are preferred.

Qualifications

• Green book holder, CEPSWAM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement QSHE management systems at the project site.

• Monitor subcontractor safety practices.

Job description

Accountable for overall safety and health performance of the project and organization in Pekat Group. Including compliances of QSHE 45001:2015 MS.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Toimplement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QSHE management systems at project site.
• Tocomplywithlegalandotherrequirementsapplicabletotheproject site.
• Toensure thatapplicablesafety and healthlegalandother requirementsarefulfilled.
• Topromote safetyandhealth awarenessandconduct inductionat projectsite.
• Toimplement andmonitorsafety andhealthprogramatworksites.
• To monitor andcontrolsubcontractor’ssafetyandhealth practices.
• Toenforce theuseofpersonalprotectiveequipment andcontinuously improvesafetyandhealth practicesatprojectsite.
• Toenforce theprovisionoffirefighting equipmentandfirstaidkitsatproject site.
• Toattendto,investigateandreportanysafetyandhealthemergency, accidents, near miss accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupationalpoisoning,or diseasesattheproject site.
• Toconduct safetyandhealth inspectionand internalaudits.
• Tocollect,analyseandmaintainstatistics on accidents, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning, or diseases at project site.
• ToimplementHSEoperationalcontrolsdocumentedintheHIRADC/JobSafety&Health Analysis and Environmental AspectsandImpacts Register.
• Toundertake anyandallotherduties andresponsibilitiesassoinstructedbythesuperior.
• Toimplement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QSHE Management System.
• Toperform site inspection and monitoring for any WAH and lifting work inorganizationandprojects.
• Undertakeanyotherfunctions as directedbythemanagementfromtimetotime.

Knowledge

• In depth knowledge of implement 45001:2015 MS – QSHE Management system.
• Engineering, construction, and technical skills knowledge.
• Knowledge in OSHA Law and regulation 1994 (Amendment 2022), FMA 1967, CIDB Act, AST 2001 (Amendment 2010).
• Knowledge in Emergency response plan, HIRADC, Risk assessment, Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), CEPSWAM.
• Familiar in Machinery, MEWP, Scaffold, Sligging & Rigging work inspection.
• Understanding electrical safety and working at heigh safe work procedure.
