Site Quality Lead

Join our dynamic team as the Site Quality Lead to lead the quality function at the manufacturing site, overseeing the Site Quality System and ensuring compliance with Haleon and global standards. The role defines the Site Quality Plan, drives continuous improvement in quality systems and processes, and leads the Quality Unit to achieve excellence and strong quality culture across the site.

This role sits at the heart of our site operations, offering a meaningful opportunity to influence our manufacturing excellence journey and contribute directly to Haleon’s mission of better everyday health with humanity.

A Day in the Life
  • Lead and manage the Site Quality System to ensure compliance with applicable GMP, GDP, and biological product regulations.
  • Define, implement, and monitor the Site Quality Plan and associated KPIs, driving continuous improvement through data and insights.
  • Serve as the quality ambassador for the site — promoting quality culture internally and representing Haleon externally to regulators and partners.
  • Provide strong leadership to the Quality Unit, ensuring the team is trained, competent, and motivated to deliver exceptional standards.
  • Oversee regulatory compliance activities to maintain and expand product licenses, including oversight of audits, inspections, and documentation.
  • Ensure all sampling, testing, and documentation of materials and products are performed in accordance with Haleon standards and legal requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with site and corporate stakeholders to enhance site maturity, compliance readiness, and overall operational excellence.
  • Manage and resolve quality-related issues swiftly and effectively, ensuring root cause identification and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Drive and support change initiatives — across people, processes, and technologies — that improve quality systems and strengthen performance across the site.
Your Areas of Knowledge and Expertise That Matter Most
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or food industry environment.
  • Strong background in GMP/GDP and Quality Systems management.
Preferred qualifications include
  • Master’s or PhD in Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
  • Knowledge of FDA, EU, and ICH quality requirements and inspection processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to identify and resolve complex problems and drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing multicultural teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
