Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable leader to provide leadership and manage daily operational activities at the project site. The role involves supervising project work, ensuring compliance with plans, drawings, ISO requirements and safety standards, and providing technical support to clients and subcontractors.

The ideal candidate will maintain company policies, oversee maintenance of machinery and tools, and manage procurement and tender documentation. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related project/site experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and ability to interpret plans.
• Good proficiency in English and Bahasa both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• To provide leadership and manage daily operational activities at the project site.
• To supervise project work, ensure compliance with plan/drawing, ISO requirements and safety regulations.
• To provide technical support required by client and other subcontractors.
• To ensure compliance on company policy and procedures by team members.
• To ensure good maintenance of company machineries/tools, office equipment & rented equipment.
• To carry out raw material and equipment procurement for project use with approval from Superior.
• To ensure tools and materials are adequate and sufficient for a smooth operation.
• To monitor project costs and to verify sub-contractor progress and supplier billing.
• To assist and prepare documents for tender submission during bidding process.
• Assist in the recruitment process of general workers under permanent or contract.
• Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of the progress claims reports.
• To take charge and monitor the work progress, quality and productivity to meet project datelines.
• Constantly review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions when needed.
