Job summary

Valeo, a global tech company and automotive supplier, seeks a Management Controller at its Nilai site. You will participate in monthly closings, analyze results, explain variances, and prepare weekly performance reports and KPI data.

Qualifications

• Participate in, understand and challenge monthly closing.
• Analyze monthly results and explain variances vs budget.
• Prepare weekly financial performance reports and KPI metrics.
• Prepare actions of Back on Track; contribute to budget and MTP processes.
• Develop or implement standard management control tools.
• Ad-hoc analyses and propose solutions for inter-site issues (transfer pricing, R&D recharges).
• Prepare and pre-validate IAR and CAA workflows.
• Ensure deployment of standard tools from Group/BG/PG/PL or RO within the site.
• Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance by applying Valeo policies.
• Interface with Statutory, Taxation Managers and SSC for statutory and taxation matters.

Provides analysis of monthly results to the manager (explain variance vs. budget, month N-1 on all P&L and activity analysis lines) Prepare the financial performance (weekly reporting), and KPI (Overdues Ext. and Int, Internal Control) Prepare actions of Back on Track Contribute to budget and MTP processes (guidelines, recharges, standard templates…) Develop or implement standard management control tools Achieves specific ad-hoc analysis Proposes solutions for solving litigations between sites (transfer price, R&D recharges…) Achieves on-site management control reviews Prepare and pre-validate IAR (respect of appropriate work flow) Prepare and pre-validate CAA (respect of appropriate work flow) Ensure the deployment of standard tools from Group/BG/PG/PL or RO within the site Contribute to the Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies. Direct interface with Statutory, Taxation Managers and SSC for statutory and taxation matters Support Statutory and Taxation Managers for statutory audit and tax submissions with local auditors and tax consultants.
