Job summary

A well-established construction company is seeking an Environmental Officer for projects in Selangor. You will be responsible for preparing environmental reports, managing environmental activities, and ensuring compliance at project sites. Candidates should have a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety, at least 2 years of experience in construction, and must register with relevant certifications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary. This is an 8-month contract position based out of Bandar Bukit Raja.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the construction field.
• Must register with either CESSWI/CISEC/CEPSWAM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental reports to management and authorities when required.
• Plan, schedule, and manage environmental activities.
• Ensure environmental compliance and program implementation at project site.
• Conduct regular site inspections and follow-up actions.
• Liaise with local authorities to maintain company standards.
• Conduct internal environmental audits.

Skills

Familiarity with DOSH and DOE regulations

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Competent in Safety, Environment and Hygiene matters

Education

Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Environmental/Health/Safety
