Job description

We are looking for 2 Engineers to join us!

One would be focusing more on Site Operations & another on Machinery.

Details below.

Engineer for Site Operations is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising mining operations to optimize productivity while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Assist in planning and executing coal getting activities in line with production targets.

Monitor excavation, drilling, and blasting activities to ensure safe and efficient mining operations.

Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement mitigation measures.

Monitor fuel consumption, wear and tear, and overall efficiency of machinery.

Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and enhance equipment lifespan.

Act as a link between site workers, site management, and HQ management.

Maintain daily progress reports on mining activities and submit them to senior management.

Engineer for Machinery will be responsible to oversee the Workshop Vehicles (tipper trucks, lorries, diesel trucks, no-plate/ vehicles) and Heavy Machineries (excavators, articulated trucks etc).

To provide day to day hands-on supervision of Workshop mechanics and ensure safety, quality and productivity of the work.

To ensure that vehicles are either serviced in accordance with the maintenance plan or repair in accordance with the highest of speed, quality and reliability.

To ensure that each vehicle has a full documented history record of works being carried out.

To act as a technical expert in the Workshop, advising mechanics on repair and sharing knowledge, for example through regular toolbox talks.

Well versed in technical aspects to work with mechanics on finding the vehicle faults easily through efficient troubleshooting method.

Working Hours

Monday to Sunday: 7am - 7pm

1 month 1 Sunday off

Work continuously for 70 days, off 15 days
