Job description

As a Site Engineer at Dynivest Progress Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of a construction site. Working on a contract basis, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of construction projects, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

What you'll be doing

Work closely with consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and related departments to solve site problem.

Ensure the quality of work is carried out in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plans, procedures, work instructions and etc.

Ensure activities are carried out in compliance with safety requirements and regulations.

To monitor and ensure all progress of construction works are timely complete and follow the specifications and standards required.

To supervise and coordinate sub-contractor's daily activities at project site.

Prepare relatable documents for site progress reports and coordinate the implementation of the contracts.

To liaise with project consultants to ensure all works are carried as per drawings and specifications.

Identifying potential risks & implementing preventive measures to minimise project delays, cost overruns & safety hazards.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or related field
• 3 or more years of experience in managing construction projects
• Experienced in water pipeline is an advantage
• Strong understanding of construction practices, materials, and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
