A construction company in Malaysia seeks a Site Clerk to support daily site operations through accurate documentation and material record-keeping. The ideal candidate will manage filing, track attendance, assist with paperwork submissions, and maintain the site office for smooth project workflow. Candidates must have a minimum Diploma and preferably 2 years of experience, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Own transport is required for this role.
Reports To : Project Manager/Immediate Superior
The Site Clerk supports daily site operations through accurate documentation, material record-keeping, coordination with subcontractors and suppliers, and preparation of reports. The role manages filing, tracks attendance, assists with paperwork submissions, and maintains the site office to ensure smooth workflow for the project team.
Possesses a minimum Diploma in related discipline or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of working experience in a related field is preferred. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Able to work independently and adapt to the project site environment.
Possess own transport.
Handle daily site documents including delivery orders, invoices, material records, attendance and progress reports.
Maintain organized filing for correspondence, drawings, emails, contracts, plans, reports, and all project forms.
Record all incoming and outgoing materials, verify DO against PO, and update material stock levels.
Assist in preparing material requisition forms and liaise with HQ or purchasing department.
Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers on attendance, progress, and delivery schedules.
Assist in preparing back charges, variation orders, RFI, NCR, Safety Reports forms, and other site-related documents.
Provide support during site meetings, including preparing agendas, minutes, and documentation.
Manage site office supplies, printing, stationery, and general office upkeep.
