Job summary

Ensign InfoSecurity is seeking a Cybersecurity SIEM Engineer to own and optimize our SIEM platform. You will lead log onboarding at scale, design detection strategies, and support SOC analysts and incident responders.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on SIEM deployment experience, cloud SIEM expertise, and strong scripting skills to automate ingestion and workflows. This role sits in a fast-paced SOC with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of hands-on SIEM engineering or SOC technical roles.
• Hands-on with major SIEM platforms (Google SecOPS, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar, XSIEM).
• Cloud SIEM and cloud log ingestion (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of SIEM architecture, log pipelines, detection logic, incident response, and SOC operations.

Responsibilities

• Implement, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale SIEM platforms.
• Integrate new log sources and security tools for visibility.
• Manage upgrades, migrations, and cloud transitions for SIEMs.
• Onboard complex log sources including EDR, IAM, networks, databases, apps, and cloud services.
• Collaborate with SOC teams to improve detection and response workflows.
• Develop dashboards and security metrics for audits and leadership.
