Job summary

KK SUPER MART Rawang is seeking a Shop Assistant for a full‑time role. You will receive, record, arrange and return goods, and manage inventory and merchandise. Maintain store cleanliness and operate equipment in line with procedures.

Provide courteous customer service, ensure asset safety, and report emergencies when needed. SPM/diploma required with 1–3 years retail experience; willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays; own transport preferred.

To receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods, as well as perform all tasks related to inventory and merchandise handling.

To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping withing the store premises.

To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.

To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.

To provide courteous and professional service to customers.

To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.

To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Possess own transportation.
