Job summary

KK Group of Companies (Retail) is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to manage inventory, assist customers, and maintain store standards. The role requires leadership in supervising staff and delivering courteous service, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Candidates should have SPM or Diploma, with a bachelor’s degree as a plus. Experience in POS systems and basic computer use is preferred. Transportation is an advantage for commuting to Langkap store.

To receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods, as well as perform all tasks related to inventory and merchandise handling.

To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping withing the store premises.

To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.

To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.

To provide courteous and professional service to customers.

To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.

To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.

Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Possess own transportation.
