Job summary

KK SUPER MART Melaka Raya (MRY) is seeking a Shop Assistant for full-time in-store duties. You will receive, record, arrange, inspect, and return goods and handle inventory and merchandise processes.

Maintain cleanliness, operate store equipment, safeguard assets, and provide courteous, professional service to customers. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Minimum 1-3 years retail experience, with supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Possess own transportation.

To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping withing the store premises.

To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.

To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.

To provide courteous and professional service to customers.

To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.

To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree is a plus.

Previous retail experience (minimum 1-3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
