Job summary

KK Super Mart Bukit Tinggi in Malaysia is looking for a Shop Assistant (Full Time). You will receive, record, and arrange goods, inspect inventory and ensure merchandise is correctly displayed while maintaining a tidy store.

You will provide courteous customer service, operate POS systems, and cooperate with the team to meet store targets. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required; own transportation is preferred.

Qualifications

• SPM/Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
• 1–3 years of retail experience, supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Own transportation.

To maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping withing the store premises.

To operate and handle all equipment and machines available in the store in accordance with company procedures.

To ensure the safety and proper care of the store's property and assets.

To provide courteous and professional service to customers.

To handle emergency situations appropriately and report them to the relevant personnel when necessary.

To uphold and maintain the good image and reputation of KK Supermart at all times.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

SPM, Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree is a plus.

Previous retail experience (minimum 1–3 years), with supervisory responsibilities preferred.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
