Job description

To assist in coordinating all shipping, logistics, and documentation activities to ensure smooth and timely delivery of goods according to customer and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare all relevant shipping documents such as invoice, packing list, delivery order, bill of lading, and export declaration forms.
  • Coordinate and book shipments with freight forwarders, carriers, or transport agents (sea, air, or land).
  • Track and monitor shipment schedules for delivery.
  • Liaise closely with warehouse, planning, and production teams to ensure cargo readiness and document accuracy.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as verifying freight charges, preparing claims.
  • Monitor all company vehicles for servicing and renewal of Puspakom/Road Tax/Insurance/GV SG Permit.

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in shipping,
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiar with basic shipping systems or SAP.
  • Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience dealing with freight forwarders, shipping lines, or transporters.
  • Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
  • Willing to work overtime when necessary.
