Job summary

A leading company in sustainable packaging is seeking a Production Supervisor in Shah Alam. You will supervise daily production activities, lead the team, monitor quality standards, and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Ideal candidates have a diploma/degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing. This role requires shift work and offers a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Able to work in shifts.
• Willing to work in Seksyen 28, Shah Alam.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise and oversee daily production activities to ensure adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Lead and motivate production staff, providing guidance and support to achieve optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality specifications and standards.
• Ensure production schedules are met and report any deviations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery and equipment are in optimal working condition.
• Prepare and maintain accurate production reports, logs, and records.
• Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

Requirements

• Diploma / degree in Engineering/Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronic/Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Must be able to work in shifts.
• Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work in Seksyen 28, Shah Alam.
• Working Hours: Shift 1 (7am – 3pm), Shift 2 (3pm – 11pm) and Shift 3 (11pm – 7am).
