Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Shift Operation Supervisor in Malaysia to lead medium to large-scale buildings and industrial systems. You will supervise maintenance staff, manage preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

The role requires an Engineering diploma or SKM and at least 5 years of related experience. Based in Penang, the position focuses on overseeing daily operations, staff development, performance coaching, and effective work order completion

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or SKM with min. 5 years of job-related experience.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.

As a CBRE Shift Operation Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining medium to large-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.

This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.

• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
• Recruit, supervise, and coordinate building maintenance and engineering staff.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules for all assigned facilities.
