Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Chargeman to ensure safe operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of HT/LV electrical infrastructure at our Kuala Lumpur site. You will oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and system monitoring.

Ideal candidates have strong knowledge of electrical safety and energy conservation, with at least 5 years of HT/LV experience and a proven track record in compliant facilities management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HT/LV operations and maintenance.
• Good understanding of electrical safety, energy conservation, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Electrical Maintenance: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, transformers, generators, and distribution boards.
• Compliance and Regulatory Management: Prepare and support scheduled inspections and certifications.

Position Overview:

The Chargeman is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and compliance of high-tension (HT) and low-voltage (LV) electrical infrastructure in accordance with statutory requirements.

Core Responsibilities:

1. Electrical Maintenance

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on switchgear, transformers, generators, and distribution boards.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults to minimize downtime.

2. Compliance and Regulatory Management

• Prepare and support scheduled inspections and certifications.

3. System Monitoring

• Monitor load distribution and system performance.
• Implement safety controls and emergency response procedures.
