Job Title: Services Engineer (Power) – Data Center Systems

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Salary Package
- Base Salary: RM 5,000 – RM 8,000 (including allowances)
- Allowances:
- RM 700 (within Klang Valley)
- RM 50 (Toll)
- Petrol Card: Provided upon confirmation (pay & claim before confirmation)

Experience & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in electrical installation, commissioning, or maintenance.
- Must have own transport and be based in Balakong.
- Must be willing to travel outstation for installation, commissioning, and maintenance work.
- Must be able to join immediately.
Role Summary
The Services Engineer (Power) is responsible for the installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of Data Center power systems, including UPS, PDUs, and Busway installations. The role ensures operational reliability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of UPS systems, PDUs, Busway, and related electrical components at customer sites.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability and minimize downtime.
- Respond to service calls and provide on‑site troubleshooting for system faults or alarms.
- Support the project implementation team, ensuring compliance with electrical and safety standards.
- Maintain service documentation, including reports, checklists, and maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for spare parts, repairs, and upgrades.
- Conduct customer training and system handover after project completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of professionalism during all field activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience with UPS systems, PDUs, or electrical distribution systems.
- Familiarity with major UPS brands and electrical drawings/schematics.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, local codes).
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and team collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel for site and service support activities.
