Job summary

A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Services Engineer (Power) to support the installation and maintenance of data center power systems, including UPS and PDUs. The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, at least 3 years of hands-on experience, and strong problem-solving skills. This role involves on-site work and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Regular travel to customer locations is required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in installation and maintenance of UPS systems, PDUs, or electrical distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with major UPS brands is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards.
  • Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork.

Job Summary

Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group's Industrial division is recruiting on behalf of a leading data center solutions provider. The Services Engineer (Power) will be responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center power systems, particularly UPS, PDU, and Busway installations. The role ensures operational reliability and performance of deployed power solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Installation & Commissioning - Install, test, and commission UPS systems, PDUs, Busway, and associated electrical systems at customer sites.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot system faults to ensure uptime and performance. Support service calls and emergency interventions for power system failures or alarms.
  • Project Support - Assist project teams during implementation, ensuring all electrical work aligns with design and compliance standards.
  • Documentation & Training - Maintain detailed service records, reports, and customer feedback. Provide training and handover support to customers post-installation.
  • Coordination - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for spare parts, upgrades, and technical support.
Key Requirements
