Qualifications

  • Familiarity with major UPS brands is a strong advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

The Services Engineer (Power) will be responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center power systems, particularly UPS, PDU, and Busway installations. The role ensures operational reliability and performance of deployed power solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  • Installation & Commissioning - Install, test, and commission UPS systems, PDUs, Busway, and associated electrical systems at customer sites.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting - Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot system faults to ensure uptime and performance. Support service calls and emergency interventions for power system failures or alarms.
  • Project Support - Assist project teams during implementation, ensuring all electrical work aligns with design and compliance standards.
  • Documentation & Training - Maintain detailed service records, reports, and customer feedback. Provide training and handover support to customers post-installation.
  • Coordination - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for spare parts, upgrades, and technical support.
Key Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering
  • 3+ years hands‑on experience - In installation and maintenance of UPS systems, PDUs, or electrical distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with major UPS brands - Is a strong advantage.

  • Strong understanding of safety and compliance standards - E.g., IEC, local electrical codes.
  • Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork - At customer locations.
