Job summary

A leading technology company in Malaysia is seeking an individual to undertake installation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. Responsibilities include supporting IT issues, assisting the department manager with sales orders, and reporting on activity updates. Ideal candidates possess a relevant diploma/degree and have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and willingness to travel is required.

Job description

To undertake and perform installation, Preventive Maintenance (PM), troubleshooting and repair jobs assigned involved but not limited to UV, FTIR, HPLC, GC etc.

To support IT technical issue.

Provide an assistance to department manager to ensure every sales order can be complete on time including but not limited to payment collection.

To provide department manager with market updates, competitor activities and business opportunity and other relevant market information.

To participate in all training activities undertaken by the department and the company.

To prepare and report weekly update on detail funnel, activities and sales/ work status to department manager.

To clearly inform, updates, communicate and cooperate with Sales Team and Customer Support centre (CSC) to ensure efficient product installation and service.

To follow through on product service and installation process and ensure customer’s expectations are met.

Actively promote consumable and service contracts.

To abide to all company's policies and procedures.

To follow up and assist finance department on invoicing and collection monitoring.

Requirement

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree (Chemical Engineering/ Computer Science/Electrical/Electronic/Chemistry/Biochemistry) or equivalent.

Having knowledge in IT, CS, LAN, LIMS is an advantage.

Positive working attitude with pleasant & excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Possess own transport and willing travel outstation with short notice.
