Senior SEO Specialist
Position Overview
We are looking for a data-driven SEO Specialist to spearhead the organic search strategy for our high-growth digital platform focused on the U.S. consumer market. This role focuses on scaling organic visibility in highly competitive, compliance-heavy sectors. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of SEO, from advanced technical audits to large-scale content optimization, ensuring our platform maintains peak performance and authority.
Key Responsibilities
1. Technical SEO & Infrastructure
- Conduct deep-dive technical audits to optimize crawl budget, indexing, and site architecture.
- Monitor and improve Core Web Vitals and page-load performance to ensure a premium user experience.
- Implement and manage Schema Markup (Structured Data) to enhance SERP presence and CTR.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical debt and ensure SEO best practices are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline.
2. Strategic Keyword Intelligence
- Execute sophisticated keyword research focusing on high-intent, long-tail search queries within competitive niches.
- Perform continuous gap analysis against market leaders to identify new organic growth opportunities.
- Map keywords to user intent stages to drive both top-of-funnel awareness and bottom-of-funnel conversions.
3. Content Lifecycle Management
- Develop and manage an SEO-first content roadmap, ensuring all digital assets are optimized for both search engines and user engagement.
- Implement advanced internal linking strategies to distribute topical authority across the domain.
- Oversee content refreshing cycles to maintain rankings for evergreen and high-value landing pages.
4. Authority Building & Digital PR
- Strategize and support white-hat link acquisition programs through high-quality outreach and digital PR.
- Monitor domain health and backlink profiles to protect against algorithmic volatility and ensure a high-authority footprint.
5. Performance Analytics & Data Insights
- Build and maintain SEO dashboards using GA4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and BigQuery (or similar tools).
- Provide actionable monthly reports on organic growth, ROI, and competitor movement to senior leadership.
- Utilize A/B testing on meta-data and on-page elements to drive incremental conversion gains.
6. Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure all SEO initiatives adhere to strict U.S. consumer advertising standards and industry-specific regulations.
- Maintain a "Compliance-First" approach to search marketing, avoiding aggressive or high-risk tactics that could impact long-term domain reputation.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience managing large-scale websites or multi-page platforms.
- Technical Depth: Proficiency in technical SEO tools (Screaming Frog, Sitebulb) and web analytics (GA4/GSC).
- Market Knowledge: Proven track record of ranking content in highly competitive U.S. search markets.
- Mindset: A hybrid of creative content strategy and rigorous technical execution.
- Bonus: Experience in Fintech, SaaS, or other regulated consumer services is a plus.
