Our “pain”
We’re scaling Sigma School fast, but:
- Our inbound organic lead volume is inconsistent, and our paid ads dominate our funnel.
- We miss out on hundreds, if not thousands, of learners who search for “career change data analytics Malaysia”, “remote developer jobs Singapore from Malaysia”, or “coding bootcamp Kuching”, and we don’t show up.
- Our site and content aren’t optimized to show up in AI and voice-search answer surfaces (the “AEO” world), so we lose the first exposure to learners before they even click.
- We haven’t built the infrastructure to programmatically target every city, every outcome, every persona (GEO + pSEO) — which means we rely heavily on broad generic pages that underperform.
- We don’t yet have a strong internal strategy person who owns this channel end-to-end (strategy -> content -> tech), so SEO feels like a “marketing add-on”, not a core flywheel.
We need someone who wakes up excited to solve these challenges.
Your mission
You will be thego-to strategistwho builds and runs the organic growth flywheel for Sigma School. Specifically, you’ll:
- Diagnose: Map the entire funnel from search intent -> page -> query -> lead, identify which keywords, regions, skills are underserved.
- Strategy: Define a keyword/intent architecture that covers SEO + GEO + pSEO + AEO — e.g., “remote junior software jobs SEA”, “data analytics bootcamp Johor”, “what’s the difference front-end/back-end career Malaysia”.
- Content & structure: Oversee the creation of scalable templates for programmatic pages (city × skill × outcome combinations) with correct schema markup, internal linking, and conversion-focused copy.
- Technical SEO & indexing: Ensure site speed, crawlability, canonical issues, schema (JobPosting, Course, FAQ) are clean. Build the technical foundation so Google and AI engines trust us.
- Link & authority growth: Develop outreach and class-strategy to raise our domain trust, especially in GEO markets (Malaysia + Singapore + possible other SEA).
- AEO optimization: Shape content so that when learners ask AI/voice: “best coding bootcamp Malaysia”, “can I become a remote developer from Penang”, our answers appear in AI surfaces and voice assistants.
- Measure & iterate: Define weekly and monthly KPIs (sessions, rankings, leads, enrolled students from organic), generate a dashboard, respond to data, and improve pages.
- Build the organ: Document the process, whether you recruit/coordinate writers, technical SEO contractors, or content production, and ensure execution speed is high.
Outcomes we expect in 12 months
- Organic sessions: Grow from current baseline to ≥10,000/month
- Lead count: Organic inbound leads (via site forms/WhatsApp) ≥ 300 by end of year
- Keyword ranking: Top 10 for ≥30 long-tail, intent-driven keywords across SEA
- GEO footprint: Programmatic pages launched for ≥80 city-skill outcome combinations
- AEO visibility: Appear in “answer” surfaces (voice/AI) for ≥20 queries/month
- Conversion efficiency: Organic lead-to-enrolment CAC is significantly lower than the paid channel
