Job description

Position : Senior Well Completion & Intervention Supervisor

Industry : Oil & Gas

Location : Offshore

Scope of Works:

• Onshore Work Scope:
  • To check/inspect contractors equipment/tools in Labuan as required.
  • To join routine morning/afternoon telephone meeting with drilling rig.
  • To support COMPANY Manager of Petroleum Engineering with technical and logistic matter so that offshore operations can be progressed smoothly without any down-time.
  • To review well completion operations and compile all information as well completion report.
  • To review Well Intervention operations planning.
  • To familiarise with Well Intervention and Periodical Well Survey (PWS) programme and propose any improvement plans.
  • To check/inspect contractors equipment/tools in Labuan as required, especially Slickline tools, E-line tools and Surface/Downhole tools.
• Offshore Work Scope:
  • Run wellbore clean-out and completion brine displacement
  • Running wireline
  • Perforate production zone with Tubing Conveyed Perforation (TCP) shoot and pull method.
  • Run In Hole (RIH) lower completion consist of sand control and smart completion equipment.
  • Run tubing string with completion equipment for production and smart completion equipment.
  • Install Xmas Tree.
  • Run Coiled Tubing Unit (CTU) for nitrogen lifting as required.
  • Carry out well clean-up.
  • Collect all data at surface and check the data quality.
  • Take well fluid samples at surface as required.
  • Run In Hole (RIH) Coiled Tubing Unit and tools.
  • Run In Hole (RIH) Slickline tools.
  • Run In Hole (RIH) Gun with E-line.
  • Run In Hole (RIH) E-line tools.
  • Set/retrieve PXX, PXN plug.
  • Open/close Sliding Side Door.
  • Set/retrieve Down Hole Shut In Tool with X-lock mandrel.
  • Hang-up Memory Gauge assembly by Slickline.
  • Run Memory Production Logging Tool.
  • Run static bottomhole pressure survey (zone by zone).
  • Run caliper survey.
  • Run tubing leak detection survey (if required).
  • Collect well fluid sample at surface (if required).
  • Run In Hole (RIH) Tractor.

Minimum Requirement(s):

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university, Malaysian High Education Certificate or Diploma in any relevant field.
• Minimum of 12 years of global Oil & Gas experience with emphasis on Well Intervention, Well Integrity, Drilling, Completion, or Subsea Engineering and field operations, of which some should be with a major operator and service provider.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated Well Intervention and Completion leadership skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing field operations (Slickline, Electric Wireline, Coil Tubing, Fluid Pumping, Rig Workovers, Gravel Pack Completions).
• Demonstrated English language proficiency (written & spoken) and safety leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated implementation of risk assessment processes.
• Must be able to work under stress and with minimum supervision, especially in emergencies.
• Must be highly skilled in all technical disciplines in a drilling, completion and workover working environment.
