Job summary

Upscale in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced software developer to join our backend team. You will contribute to designing, coding and unit testing applications and frameworks across the CMS stack.

Ideal candidates have strong Linux, REST API, and database skills, plus frontend familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript. A minimum 6 years of relevant experience and a degree in CS/CE are preferred.

Qualifications

• Design, code and unit test the applications and frameworks.
• Familiar with web development process, backend CMS experience preferred.
• Experience with version control systems such as SVN and Git.
• Knowledge of consuming REST APIs is required.
• Document applications for technical white papers, user guides and operations manuals.
