Job summary

United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd is seeking an experienced investment product advisor to drive wealth revenue by advising on investment products and supporting the sales team. The role requires deep knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and the ability to deliver unbiased product briefs to clients and the sales force.

Candidates should have 6-8 years in investment product advisory, with strong communication and analytical skills, and be independent with a sense of urgency.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in investment product advisory; prior asset management or treasury experience preferred.
• Understanding of financial markets and investment products (mutual funds, structured products, treasury products).
• Confident with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Independent, self-motivated with strong sense of urgency.
• Quick learner with good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and drive wealth revenue for Investment Products by assisting on Client Events, Tea Talks, Joint Sales Calls and giving unbiased product briefing to the Sales Team/Customers as and when required;
• Provide expertise and advisory to Sales Representatives and Customers on wealth-related products;
• Cross promote to grow key product portfolios;
• Coach Sales Representatives on key features in Investment Products;
• Enhance customers' overall investment experience by providing unbiased specialized expertise/views required in managing wealth-related products;
• Understand customer’s financial profile and needs to develop investment strategies to address and meet customer’s financial goals;
• Adhere to Bank’s internal policies, business processes and regulatory requirements including compliance with related laws/Acts.
