Job summary

Ingram Micro Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned professional to serve as a liaison between vendors and the organization, driving and maintaining vendor programs, marketing and training initiatives. You will review terms of vendor contracts and communicate day-to-day matters with vendors, while building strong relationships and monitoring performance.

You will provide senior-level support, guidance to junior staff, and ensure alignment with company policies.

Qualifications

• Seasoned individual contributor. Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
• Provides assistance and training to lower level employees.
• Problems typically are not routine and require analysis to understand.
• Explains practices, procedures and policies to reach agreement with others outside of the job area.
• Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 year experience in functional area. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level.
• Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between vendors and the organization, providing consultative services and managing vendor programs.
• Review and negotiate vendor contracts; communicate day-to-day matters with vendors.
• Build and maintain positive vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance.
• Research invoice and contractual issues and resolve discrepancies.
