Job summary

Ambition in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a technically strong Full Stack Developer to build scalable, high-performance applications using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and Node.js in a permanent hybrid role.

You will design, develop, and maintain full stack solutions, deliver secure APIs (REST/GraphQL), work with PostgreSQL/MySQL, and collaborate across teams. The position emphasizes modern software engineering, including AI-assisted development tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with proven experience developing applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, or Fastify.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design and optimisation, with experience using ORM tools such as Prisma.
• Familiar with frontend state management, testing frameworks, secure authentication methods (JWT/OAuth), and modern web security best practices.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Agile software development practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a passion for learning new technologies and leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities
