This Senior Trade Marketing Executive role offers the opportunity to contribute significantly to the growth and development of winning in-store share, market and consumer exposure. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing plans on assigned category segments, data analysis, trade marketing activities and budget management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement win-in-store activities, drive effective sell out.
- Manage & negotiate with contractors on outlet signboards, renovations and brand counters development for the optimum quality and costing.
- Ensure brand displays are well maintained, up to date.
- Manage agency on POSM development and deployment.
- Develop merchandising guide or planograms for in store displays in reference to retail index standards.
- Collaborate with sales and product team on development and implementation of go-to-market plans.
- Coordinate with sales and promoter team on roadshow events.
- Market visitation, study and analysis of latest competitors’ activities and consumer insights, to convert information into practical campaigns.
- Participate or initiate market research if required to support the development of winning GTM strategy.
- Analyze sales data (sell in & sell out), share of shelves, other measurements to support in the development of trade marketing activities.
- Involve in overall trade marketing tasks assigned by superior.
- Follow up on work-in-progress projects.
- Be involved in meetings & planning to contribute ideas and job assignments.
- Travel within Malaysia as assigned.
- Work odd hours (public holidays, weekend, night work) when required.
- Budget management to keep the expenses within the agreed budget.
- Manage and evaluate ROI of trade promotion to achieve optimum returns.
- Adhoc task required by superior.
To be a Successful Candidate
- Hold a degree in business or related fields
- Microsoft App (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
- Minimum 3 years of trade and marketing experience in FMCG, Consumer Electronics, Service-oriented industries.
- Skilled in planning, time management, presentation, negotiation, communication and project management.
- Sole contributor to manage overall projects
- A good team player among teams and departments
- Strong communication skill with internal and external stakeholders
- Good problem‑solving skill
- Good negotiation skill
- Good observation and evaluation skill
- Analytical and able to work well with data.
