We are currently seeking dynamic and passionate individuals to support our client’s retail operations and customer engagement across their nationwide branches.

Job Summary

As a Senior Telco Retail Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in driving sales performance, ensuring excellent customer experience, and supporting smooth branch operations. You will also serve as a mentor to new hires, act as a product expert within the retail team, and be a key contributor to external marketing activities such as roadshows and events.

Job Description
  • Deliver exceptional face‑to‑face customer service by providing accurate, efficient and high‑quality assistance.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance overall satisfaction and brand loyalty.
  • Identify sales opportunities through proactive engagement, product recommendations, and effective upselling or cross‑selling of devices and rate plans.
  • Achieve branch sales and service KPIs while ensuring smooth daily operations, including inventory control and adherence to our client’s standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide interim leadership support to maintain seamless branch operations and service quality when required.
  • Mentor and coach new hires during their on‑the‑job training (OJT) to accelerate performance and team integration.
  • Serve as the designated Product Champion—stay up to date with product knowledge, processes, and systems, and share information effectively with both customers and teammates.
  • Support the execution of external marketing activities, including roadshows and promotional events and representing our client’s brand professionally.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive body language at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • A minimum of a Diploma or a Degree in any field with at least 5 years of experience in sales and customer service, preferably in the telecommunications or mobile industry.
  • Strong customer service mindset with excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to identify sales opportunities, persuade customers, and close deals effectively.
  • Strong numeracy skills with the ability to perform quick and accurate calculations.
  • Computer literate and proficient in basic MS Office tools; able to navigate multiple applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills—friendly, confident, professional, and able to engage with a wide range of customers.
  • Detail‑oriented, able to multitask, and thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
  • Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to work on rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Physically fit to stand for long hours and well‑presented with positive body language.
