A leading paint and equipment maintenance company in Shah Alam is seeking a skilled technician for spray painting operations. Responsibilities include applying various coatings, maintaining safety protocols, and assisting in the repair of aircraft components. Ideal candidates should possess experience in using spray paint equipment and mixing paint. Competitive salary and benefits offered.
Follow safety regulations and wear protective gear during spray painting operations such as respirator.
Responsible for painting process such as apply epoxy, polish, resin or other materials to component surfaces, and applying the final color coat.
Responsible for using tools and paint remover solutions, remove old paint, clean, sand and scratch components surface, grind and prepare blade surfaces for painting preparation.
Responsible for using tools and standard spray paint equipment: paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander, and common hand tools.
Responsible for paint mixing to create desired mixture and masking the components for painting preparation.
Responsible for Design Critical Characteristic (DCC) inspection trained by OEM.
Responsible for overall repair shop Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), 5S and FOD Prevention programs.
Responsible for maintenance, repair, and monitoring a variety of machines, tools, and instruments used to repair, test, and assemble aircraft propeller blades, subassemblies, parts, and accessories.
Maintaining preservation of all components and complete units during the work process.
Assuring the proper handling of parts and completed assemblies in process.
Assist other technicians in the disassembly, assembly, painting and inspection of propellers, controls, parts, and components as needed.
Any other tasks required by the superior.
