Job summary

A machinery service provider based in Malaysia is looking for a skilled technician to service, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts. The ideal candidate should hold a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and have hands-on experience with mobile elevated work platforms. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are essential, and a valid driving license is required. This role involves both workshop and on-site maintenance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing Mobile Elevated Work Platforms, construction machinery, or similar equipment.
• Possess a valid driving license.
• Responsible and committed, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, and forklifts.

Perform repair and maintenance work both at the workshop and at customer sites.

Recommend effective solutions and collaborate with the operations team to resolve technical issues.

Carry out any other duties assigned by the Head of Department (HOD) or Manager.

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Hands-on experience in the maintenance and repair of MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platforms), construction machinery, or similar equipment.

Good understanding of hydraulic and electrical systems in machinery.

Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Possess a valid driving license.

Responsible, committed, and able to work independently or in a team.
