Job summary

A leading global semiconductor company in Malaysia is looking for a Production Engineer responsible for overseeing production and engineering activities related to the casting and molding process. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in engineering, a minimum of 3 years' experience in the semiconductor industry, and fluency in both Malay and English. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with safety protocols and collaborating closely with production teams to address quality issues on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Knowledge in Semiconductors & LED Manufacturing Processes, especially Casting or Molding.
• Fluent in Malay and English with good communication skills.

• Responsible for production and engineering on hold lots disposition.

• Ensure compliance with process controls, safety protocols, and cleanroom procedures.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production and engineering on hold lots disposition at casting and molding process.
• Support engineering evaluations and various improvement project activities.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams on the shop floor to carry out investigations and address daily quality issues.
• Ensure compliance with process controls, 5S standards, cleanroom procedures, and safety protocols on the shop floor.
• Support routine production floor audit activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or equivalent.
• Min 3 year and above experience in semiconductor manufacturing field.
• Knowledge on Semiconductors & LED Manufacturing Process. Preferred with Casting or Molding process knowledge.
• Fluent in Malay and English language.
• Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills.
• Ability to guide operators to perform required task.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
