Senior Technician (Aircraft Component Repair) (CA/AL) - Singapore

About the role

We are seeking highly skilled Senior Technician (Component Repair) to join our team at ST Engineering Aerospace Engines Pte Ltd located in the Airport Road East Region. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing aerospace components to the highest industry standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Perform comprehensive inspections, testing and repair of aircraft components to ensure airworthiness
• Utilise specialised tools and equipment to conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair work
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all repair activities and component histories
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior technicians as required
• Adhere to all relevant safety procedures and quality control measures
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a technician in the aerospace industry
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills in component repair and maintenance (inspection, plasma, sheetmetal, welding, cleaning, etc.)
• Proficient in the use of specialised tools and diagnostic equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in aerospace engineering or maintenance
• Willing to work in Singapore
