Responsibilities
  • Familiarity with AV equipment setup and web conferencing.
  • Handle SOP for AV equipment.
  • Troubleshoot audio, video, projectors and control systems problems as required.
  • Ensure all classrooms, meeting rooms, auditorium and MPH projectors are in good condition for teaching.
  • Perform regular maintenance checks on AV/VC systems to keep equipment in working condition.
  • Maintain AV/VC equipment inventory, generate monthly reports and highlight low inventory numbers or faulty equipment to superior immediately with action plan.
  • Liaise with appointed vendors on AV/VC equipment issues and maintenance support.
  • Collaborate closely with the Facilities department in management of equipment.
  • Supervise contractors if necessary.
  • Install, test, operate and dismantle equipment including Mechanical & electrical systems for whole buildings including hostels.
  • Able to write and read emails.
  • Propose and perform preventive maintenance for all audio‑visual equipment to ensure they are well maintained and in good working condition.
  • Able to work during weekends or shifts or any unscheduled events.
  • Perform other duties as required by superior.
Qualifications/Skill Required
  • Computer literate – competency with Microsoft Office programs and Outlook email.
  • Experience in working at hotel, college or university will be added advantage.
